Easiest Game Ever Cheese Ball
The yellow smiley that runs the game while the trophy takes the credit.
The Cheese Ball is the closest thing Easiest Game Ever has to a companion. It spawns in the pit, smiles, rolls when you shove it, talks in chat, and will lightning-strike you if you copy it too well. This page is character-first. The verb list (push, stand, flash, mine wall) lives in the Cheese Ball guide.
The short video here is Little Cheese, which is what happens when you stop treating the ball as furniture and start treating the cheese block as a body.
Personality
It is friendly until it is not. Guides and Let’s Plays (Lia, ElfSixDave, LevitatorLevi) all bounce off the same joke: the ball says almost nothing useful, then a copied line becomes a death. That is the tone of the whole place. The title says easy. The NPC says hi. The map drops you in a cellar.
It is also the only party member you get. Servers are solo. The ball is the second actor. If it despawns for a few seconds after a chasm fall, wait. If it never returns, the changelog matters more than your feelings.
Endings it personally gates
Cheese, Big Cheese, Little Cheese, Super Win, Lightning Strike, Mine (as a key), Consumed, Golden Cheese, plus access to Lost / Keith / rat because you cannot reach those rooms without the yellow flash. Rank those on easy endings first. Lightning Strike is the chat exception; it plays harder than the others. Controls for typing.
Quotes and Lightning Strike
The ball’s chat is short. Copy it exactly. The ending is Lightning Strike. This is the only time the character is a dialogue tree. There is no second branch. There is no romance option. There is a bolt.
Do not log the line as a code. It will not redeem Robux.
Versus Apple Ball and Angry Ball
Apple Ball is red, fruit-sided, less chatty in community clips, equally shoveable. Angry Ball is a combat joke that disappears when Angry is disabled. If you only remember one face, remember yellow. The characters hub lists the cousins so you do not push the wrong sphere into the vault door.
Versus Keith and Paul
Keith is a person-shaped puzzle in a cell. Paul is a park catcher. The Cheese Ball is geometry plus mood. You will spend more time with the ball than with either humanoid. That is why this wiki gives it both a character page and a how-to.
How to play the character
You do not unlock skins for it. You do not level it. You roll it into walls until the map confesses. When it becomes a smiley trophy, that is Super Win, not an evolution. When it eats you, that is Consumed, not a game over that deletes badges.
Mark every ball-gated badge on the endings tracker. If you are still standing on the trophy hoping the ball does something without a push, go back to the beginner walkthrough.
Reading the ball like an NPC, not a crate
Watch whether it is smiling toward the trophy or toward the chasm. Creators often leave it parked as a hint: last direction of a failed Super Win, last shove into the dirt wall. If it sits against the mine wall, finish Mine before you reset. If it sits in the pit without a yellow flash, you were early — wait, then jump, as the how-to says.
It has no health bar. Consumed is your death, not its. Golden Cheese is a timed pop, not a friendship meter. You cannot skin it. You cannot name it. You can only decide whether today is a push day or a chat day. Lightning Strike is the chat day; everything else is physics.
Compared with Keith, the ball is always on-stage. Compared with Paul, it never chases you. That is why new players think it is scenery. Mark every ball-gated badge on the endings tracker in one colour so you see how much of the 95-ending list is really a yellow-sphere list. Then stop calling the trophy the protagonist.
